Company History
QUALITY HOLDING GROUP LLC was founded in 2002
as an extension of Quality Communications of Florida which was founded by Mr.
John W. Hood and family in 1990. QUALITY has expanded its service capabilities to include more than 70 well-trained,
dedicated and efficient employees, including numerous project engineers
(P.E.’s), Registered Communications Designers (RCDD’s) and other BICSI, licensed
journeymen and licensed professionals as well as factory certified
technicians.. The management team has a vast scope of technical knowledge and
brings over 100 combined years of experience in telecommunications, building
controls, electrical contracting, and security from leading companies such as
BellSouth, AT&T, Siemens. We are a family owned and operated business.
Currently, we have offices in Fort Lauderdale and Ft. Myers/Naples, Florida. We
originally started in the structured cable business working mostly for the
School Board of Broward County. We have completed over $50 million in
data/voice/fiber/WAN/LAN type work over the past 4 years. We have completed
over 250 schools for the School Board of Broward County, each of which
communicates over a LAN installed by us. With average revenues in excess of
$10M/year, we are a relatively large family owned, local company.
Over the years we have expanded our services to
cover most low-voltage systems, services, and installation. We provide 24 hour,
365 day emergency service, as well as a 24/7/365 UL listed monitoring and
dispatch center (1-800 number). We design, distribute, install, and maintain
structured cabling systems, network systems, telephone systems, wireless
systems, security systems, intercom systems, nurse call systems, CCTV systems,
and card access systems. We also can provide any low voltage service and any
required high voltage services as a fully licensed unlimited Electrical
Contractor in the State of Florida.
Our company structure allows us to provide
turn-key solutions to our clients. We have in-house engineering and design
services including a full AutoCAD Department. Our installation forces are
certified and trained in low and high voltage systems and cabling, as well as
structured cable/fiber optic solutions. The combination of these in-house
engineering and installation forces coupled with our Value Added Reseller (VAR)
partnerships for many low voltage systems and equipment, allows Quality
Communications Holding Group LLC to provide best-of-class, cost-effective
turn-key solutions. With complete in-house design and installation services, we
eliminate the need for many subcontractors and reduce our cost, allowing us
complete control over the entire project and completion time.
Our company includes approximately 70 highly
skilled professionals comprising several departments. The Telecommunications
Department provides telecommunications networks and structured cable solutions;
Alarm & Detection department handles security, sound and other low voltage
systems; the Service Department provides 24/7/365 monitoring and support; plus
an Installation Department to permit completion of turnkey solutions.
Our personnel include a Dedicated General
Manager, Dedicated Telecommunications Manager, Dedicated Sales Manager, Project
Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, Foremen, Installers, Sales
Representatives, Computer Aided Design operators, Inspection team members, and
Administrative personnel.
